Eligibility:
This is an Open juried exhibition, and all artists of miniatures are invited to participate. Work submitted must be original work by the artist.

Size:
Artwork may not exceed 48 square inches (including mat and frame), with a maximum image size of 25 square inches. The 1/6th rule will be applied when entries are juried. (Exceptions where applicable.) Sculptures may not exceed 6in x 6in x 6in including the base.

Media
Acceptable media are:
- Drawing (pencil, charcoal, ink, pastel, colored pencil, and claybord)
- Paintings (watercolor, acrylic, oil)
- Mixed media
- Sculpture / 3Dimensional

Framing
All work must be presentation ready. (no sawtooth hangers plese) All watercolors must be under glass or plexiglass.

Labeling
All works must have the following information firmly affixed to the bottom of the piece:
- Title of the work
- Medium
- Price
- Artist's full name

Categories
Awards will be given in the following categories: Still life, animal, portrait, landscape, seascape, 3Dimensional.

Entry Fees
$25.00 for up to 6 submissions. $20.00 for up to three submissions, and $10.00 for a single submission. With minimum of 4 entries, an artist is entitled to one NFS. All other works must be for sale. The gallery will take a commission of 30% on all sales. Entry fees are nonrefundable and must accompany the entry form.

Delivery and Pickup
All entries, either hand delivered or mail, UPS or Fedex must be received no later than February 29, 2008. Coverage of the cost of return postage is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Pickup and return mailing of entries will be after 3:00pm March 30, 2008.

Liability
All entries will be handled with the utmost care and protection, but the Sierra Artists Gallery, Northern California Society of Arts in Miniature and their representatives will not be responsible for loss or damage to any entry, whatsoever the cause, before, during or after the exhibition. All artists are encouraged to provide their own insurance. All disputes will be handled by binding arbitration.

Publicity
The submission of artwork for jurying constitutes an agreement to exhibit. The Northern California Society of Art in Miniature shall have the right to photograph, video, or reproduce any work or name of exhibitor for purposes of catalog, invitation or publicity unless stated otherwise in writing. Receipt of the completed entry form constitutes your agreement with all the conditions set forth in this prospectus.
